Coffee Beyond Coffee
The allure of coffee may lie more in its aroma than its taste.
The rich aroma that rises the moment the beans are ground, the complex fragrance created by roasting.
We have extracted only its most beautiful moments through distillation.
Coffee beyond coffee.
This is not a cup of coffee, but a bottle for confronting the core of its aroma.
Unlike typical coffee liqueurs, it is unsweetened and finished as a spirit with an alcohol content of 43%. It allows you to enjoy the original aroma of the ingredients straight, and also offers great flexibility as a cocktail base.
Botanicals:
Roasted coffee
Volume: 500ml
Alcohol content: 43% vol.
SINGLE NOTE
In the process of developing gin, MAWSIM has distilled hundreds of botanicals.
Some aromas become part of gin, some are not adopted, and some are recorded for the future.
SINGLE NOTE is not gin. Nor is it a liqueur.
It is a series born from such an archive of aromas.
In contrast to gin, which pursues complex harmony, the protagonist here is a single aroma.
Instead of adding to the recipe, we subtract from it.
Like a single note, not a chord.
There is no category yet for SINGLE NOTE.
Rather, it is closer to research records brought out from MAWSIM's laboratory.
It is a spirit for confronting a single aroma.
MAWSIM GIN often produces cloudiness, sediment, and oil droplets.
It will almost certainly become cloudy when mixed with ice, soda, or other diluents.
This phenomenon is due to the volatile oils that are the aromatic components derived from botanicals.
When these essential oils, which determine the flavor of gin, are extracted so abundantly that they cannot fully dissolve in alcohol, phenomena such as cloudiness occur.
While this can be suppressed by chill-filtration, doing so also impairs the flavor, so MAWSIM adheres to the choice of not filtering.
Do not drink if you are under 20 years old.
Drinking and driving is prohibited by law.
Drinking during pregnancy or lactation may adversely affect the development of the fetus or infant.
