Rare organic Cambodian cacao, delivered from "choco rico," a Bean to Bar producer.
The moment you open the package, a savory yet powerful bitter flavor, unique to carefully roasted cacao beans, spreads through the air.
Faced with this overwhelming natural beauty, we deliberately refrained from adding sugar with liqueurs or complex gin-making blends.
What we chose was immersion in high-proof spirits.
By adding absolutely nothing extraneous, we directly extracted the rich chocolate sweetness derived from cacao and the wildness hidden deep within the roast.
With just one sip, a rich flavor so profound it makes you forget it's a liquid, will deeply and sweetly fill your five senses in its unadulterated, pure form.

SINGLE NOTE

During the gin development process, MAWSIM distilled nearly 300 types of botanicals.
Amidst that vast trial and error, what we witnessed was "the true essence of the ingredient," which shines most brilliantly on its own, overshadowed by complex harmony (gin).

"SINGLE NOTE" is a spirits series born from the "subtraction" philosophy of deliberately stripping away the recipe.
By shining a new light on aromas that were silent behind multi-layered compositions and refining them to the extreme, we completed an "aromatic archive" that encapsulates the very life of the ingredients themselves.

We also pursued minimalism in the bottle design.
Instead of a heavy glass bottle, we deliberately adopted a lightweight "aluminum bottle" because it is a rational choice for enjoying a "pure state."
The high thermal conductivity unique to aluminum allows the bottle to be rapidly chilled whole in a freezer.

Even eliminating the element of "ice" from the serving style.
By not using ice, dilution due to temperature changes is prevented, and the outlines of aroma and alcohol are kept clear, allowing you to touch the core of the ingredients.
This is the purest and most luxurious experience proposed by MAWSIM.

Additionally, MAWSIM GIN often exhibits cloudiness, sediment, or oil droplets.
If mixers such as ice or soda are added, cloudiness is almost certain to occur.
This phenomenon is due to the aroma components derived from botanicals being volatile oils.
When these essential oils, which determine the flavor of gin, are extracted so abundantly that they do not completely dissolve in the alcohol, phenomena such as cloudiness occur.
This can be suppressed by chill-filtration, but doing so also compromises the flavor, so MAWSIM adheres to the choice of unfiltered production.
