A fruity, vivid drop the world fell for.
Four kinds of citrus and tropical fruit are blended to perfection, drawing out an aroma as lively and vivid as freshly squeezed juice. A dazzling wave of freshness bolts through your senses, unfolding into a bright, sometimes fierce finish. Every fruit is distilled in its fresh state.
Carefully crafted in our micro-distillery in Phnom Penh and filled into a blue-green kelder bottle.
In 2023, MAWSIM became the first Asian brand to win World’s Best Flavoured Gin at the World Gin Awards. That same year, it earned Gold at the IWSC with an exceptional score of 95 points.

Behind Each Drop
At MAWSIM, where freshness of fruit is paramount, the distillation process is shaped by a unique technique. By using a large quantity of fresh fruit, the rising vapor is naturally cooled by the fruit, causing it to condense and return in liquid form. Through this natural reflux cycle, the vapor is refined as if “polished,” delivering a precision of separation akin to a multi-column still—despite being a pot still.
In the distillation of TROPICAL CITRUS, the flavor rises swiftly to its peak. As heat builds, the fruit turns jam-like, its freshness gradually fading until faint bitter notes begin to emerge. MAWSIM makes the spirit cut just before that point—capturing only the most vivid and radiant moment. And the result is a fruit aroma so clear and pure, it feels almost unimaginable in gin.
MAWSIM GIN often turns cloudy, with sediments or tiny oil droplets. Add ice or soda, and cloudiness is almost certain. This phenomenon arises because the aromatic compounds from botanicals are volatile oils—essential oils—present in such abundance that alcohol can no longer hold them in solution. Chill filtering can suppress this—but at the cost of flavor. So MAWSIM chooses to stay unfiltered.
